A little help when it mattered most
Sometimes, a little practical help, at a key moment, can make a very big difference.

One morning, earlier this month, we received a call from a lady in Leatherhead who was struggling with a bad back. She was unable to get out to the shops and, as a result, hadn’t eaten a proper meal for several days.
It was clear that she needed some practical help - and she needed it quickly.
Within an hour and a half of the call, one of our Hatha Helpers was at her home.
The Hatha Helper headed to Waitrose to do the shopping, returning with everything needed to make sure there was food in the house. But the help didn't stop there. She prepared the lady's lunch before leaving a meal ready for her dinner too.
What had started as a difficult and worrying day had been made a whole lot easier.
Sometimes, people simply find themselves unable to manage the everyday practical tasks that they would normally take care of themselves. It might be an injury or illness or a period of reduced mobility.
Having someone who can step in and lend a hand can make all the difference.
Our Hatha Helpers provide practical support around the home, from shopping and household tasks to driving, gardening, home maintenance and much more. Just as importantly, they provide reassurance - knowing that when something needs doing, there is someone you can call.
For this our new client, it meant getting some food into the house, having a proper lunch and having dinner taken care of.
